How would it feel “Winning a Wine Label” hmmm that is a great question. This is a question I have spent some time thinking about. Most people don’t have an avenue without purchasing a label to get a wine bottle with their own label. I have the ability to win one and it is very exciting! I have thought about this quite a bit through my years of involvement with the DTC Ambassador wine club.
Knowing the opportunity existed and believing you can acheive it are different things. That is up until recently I didn’t think I had a legitimate shot at acheiving this. As we grow in confidence and knowledge we can realize that this is an attainable goal!
Funny how the human spirit is indomitable. Despite what we have faced in our past we can change the outcomes of our futures. I have had struggles my whole life due to some tramas as a child and an adult that left me feelling less than worthy. Men in my generation were taught to stuff their emotions and that has caused a lot of harm and needless suffering for a lot of us.
Wrapping my head around Winning a Wine Label
Recently I had the pleasure of sharing my struggles with a dear friend, and they helped me see that the past doesn’t need to rule your future. We all have lifes struggles and dissappointments. Life happens to us all. The champions of this earth are those that are willing to face these difficulties and struggles and do the hard part of digging in the past and owning what you need to own but giving back to those that hurt you their portion. How much energy have I spent carrying burdens that weren’t mine to carry. My personal growth in this area has drastically improved. And with this newfound personal growth my numbers have grown in my business as well…
Winning a Wine Label Criteria…
The criteria for winning the label is pretty straight forward. The combined growth of your organization from July 31st 2023 to August 1, 2024. Everyone starts from where they are on day 1 and then the growth until the deadline. GROW simple… Since starting to do this full time and putting myself into the system completely my personal growth has been as fast as anyone in the company. This brings me renewed confidence and although not perfect helps me really believe that I have a legitimate shot at this. In the past I had more of a wishbone than a workers mentality. That has changed. I see the dream of owning a Wine Label as an atainable goal.
What would my Wine Label look like
When I thought about this before I envisioned a huge humpback whale breaching the surface. My love for the ocean Started when I visisted Hawaii at ages 19 and 20. I fell in love with their majesty, enormity, gentleness, and freedom they possess. I am a big guy but I love people and am more or less a gentle giant. So When I originally designed the label that is what I thought of…
I have changed it since my rebirth of myself by addressing the tramas from my past… I still have work to do but am equipped with the tools to tackle them head on now as well as a willingness to do the hard work knowing the reward of peace of mind and joy await on the other side. My hope is my personal growth journey will inspire others.
Winning a Wine Label would be Amazing!
So the original was a great way to start thinking about the label. I have since grown to realize that I would like to transform that photo into something new as well. I’m not an artist so I’m working with sonme programs that I hope can acheive the look I want… I think of my life as a newness coming from the past similar to the Phoenix emerging from the ashes.
Maybe the whale becomes the Phoenix as I take the leap of faith to step out and step up form my past I am rebirthed into a formidable majestic Phoenix. Now to just get that in an illistration… This could be a challenge… But I’m up for the challenge.
